La Historia

THE CONCEPT
& LA FAMMILIA

Under the claim "Spain, but here", our founder Carlos Martinez Sweeney and his team strive to achieve just that. A place where you come in and immediately feel as if you have left the city...

When he came to Germany in 2013, he quickly noticed that the image of Spain was old-fashioned, strange and in a lot of cases quite inauthentic, especially in the hospitality sector.

A mixture of sadness, anger and an entrepreneurial desire motivated him to write the business plan for Muchos Más and its future German expansion during his studies at the Hochschule Bremen. Immediately after completing his studies, the first location was found and opened at Am Wall 135 in Bremen.

At that moment the street was  (unofficially) renamed, Am Wall was no longer but Am Wallencia was born! (Pun of the Year 2016, Source: Not Found)

The idea behind Muchos Más has always been clear, it should be authentic through and through - nothing would be "germanized". Everything just as you actually see or get it in Spain, the good and the bad: food and drinks, of course, but also furniture, decoration, our sometimes chaotic manner and down to the smallest detail. España Pura.

Every day we send our guests on “mini vacations” without leaving Germany and when the aim is when they land back,  they should  want to become a part of our community and become a member of "La Fammilia".

Also very important to our culinary concept was not only the typical dishes and drinks that everyone knows but also the less well-known ones that represent Spain just as much, so we wanted to create a menu that shows exactly that.

Our menu features over 25 tapas, some cold and some warm. We also have our 12 stars: our montaditos. These are small, freshly baked baguettes filled with Spanish ingredients such as Serrano ham and Manchego cheese, or cream cheese and salmon.

Be careful, they're addictive!

Our cold cut platters or tablas de embutidos are perfect for sharing with a good vino or a Tinder date.  We have classic salads like Caesar, but also sweet and savory bombs like our Ensalada del Valle with chicken breast strips, bacon, brie cheese, and honey mustard sauce. All salads are as fresh as The Prince of Bel-Air (90s reference, sorry young ones).

The “postres” or desserts are classics like crema catalana and churros, but also homemade bombs like La Tarta de la Mama, a caramel-chocolate cookie, a secret recipe from Carlos's mom.

The atmosphere at Muchos Más should always be relaxed and casual. Our mission is to be a place where guests decide to stay after their meal and choose something from our extensive drinks menu. From sangria pitchers and Estrella Galicia beer on tap to our famous cocktails and daily happy hour, there's something for everyone if you really try!

Since day one, we have been known for our parties and fiestas on the weekends. It depends on the mood of our guests. Sometimes it's lively, sometimes it's not, and we think that's great! We leave it up to you to decide how you want your night to be. We're always up for it ☺

We now have over 60 people in our wonderful multicultural team. Everything from Spanish and Latin American waitresses to a New Zealander and a strong Italian-Spanish-Senegalese chef combination! We look forward to getting to know you!

Because you are our family, Muchos Mas, Am Wallencia is your casa (home), and that's why you should behave accordingly.

Want another glass of wine? Go ahead!

Want a third round of tapas? Order it!

Are you tired? Sleep, we have blankets!

Do you think your table neighbors are cool? Tell them!

Do whatever makes you happy! Going out to eat isn't just about going somewhere to eat. It should be fun, it should be a moment to remember, it should be an experience.

An authentic Spanish experience!

We are here for you 7 days a week, almost 365 days a year!

Spain, but here!

See you soon! Nos vemos Familia!

Time to Muchosmasen!
